About Us!
Have you ever had a calling? In 2020 I had the privilege of taking care of a baby Quaker Parrot. This came after a lifetime of growing up with birds and developing a great appreciation for them. I named the Quaker, Ham, due to his fluffy feathers. And the rest is history. Ham has helped me through college, milestones, and hardships. We are one another's best friends, I couldn't imagine going into business with anyone else! I named The H.A.M. Gift Shop after him to combine two of my passions, creativity and birds. I hope this business can continue to provide the surrounding area with a central hub for artisans while supporting personal and community causes.
The H.A.M. Gift Shop was established in 2024 with the help of my mother, Melissa Adams, as well as the rest of my family. After two wonderful years with our storefront, we closed our physical shop at the end of July 2026 — but our mission continues! We now bring our artisan community directly to you by hosting craft fairs throughout Worcester County, where local vendors can showcase their work. If you're an artisan interested in joining one of our events, we'd love to hear from you — vendor applications are open year-round.
We're also still spreading the joy of "Blind Dates With A Book," our surprise-wrapped book concept, both online and at the craft fairs we host throughout the year. Whether you're looking for your next mystery read or hoping to connect with talented local makers, you can find us at events across the county!
